U.S. Defense Giant Lockheed Martin to Deepen Ties with Israeli Industry

Jerusalem, 3 december, 2025 (TPS-IL) — U.S. defense contractor Lockheed Martin and Israel’s Industrial Cooperation Authority have extended the Umbrella Industrial Cooperation Agreement (UICA) through 2029. The agreement, first signed in 2005 and renewed in 2020, strengthens collaboration between Lockheed Martin and Israeli defense and aerospace industries.

Since 2020, Lockheed Martin has invested over $470 million in Israeli projects, contributing to a total of more than $4 billion to date. The company will continue investing 35% of the value of new contracts back into Israeli industry.

Minister of Economy and Industry Nir Barkat said the extension “strengthens Israel’s security, creates new engines of economic growth, and generates thousands of high-quality jobs.”
