Jerusalem, 1 November, 2025 (TPS-IL) — A second doctor at Tel Aviv’s Ichilov Hospital has tested for measles after treating an unvaccinated girl with the dieasse, Israel’s Health Ministry announced Saturday night. Both doctors had been vaccinated, the ministry added.

“This is an unusual incident that is currently being investigated by the hospital and the Ministry of Health,” the ministry said.

The two doctors have mild symptoms and will remain in isolation until the infectious period of the disease ends.

The national vaccination rate for measles is around 90 percent.
