Jerusalem, 13 November, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The Prime Minister’s Office reported that Israel has received, through the Red Cross, the coffin containing the remains of a deceased Israeli hostage that was handed over to the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) inside the Gaza Strip. From there, it will be transported to Israel, where it will be received in military honors by the Chief Military Rabbi.
It will then be transferred to the Ministry of Health’s National Center for Forensic Medicine for identification.
At the end of the identification process, an official notification will be given to the family.
