Providing relief measures in reporting to the Tax Authority – Operation “Rising Lion”

Following the publication of relief measures in light of the operation “Rising Lion”, and following requests from professional chambers, the Director of the Tax Authority, Mr. Shai Aharonovich, decided to grant additional relief as detailed below:

1. In accordance with the announcement dated 15.6.2025, the reporting and periodic payment deadlines for the month of May 2025 for VAT, deductions and income tax advances will be postponed to 26.6.2025. In addition, to the extent that the reports are reported and paid by 8.7.2025, no fines will be imposed.
2. The deadline for submitting the annual income tax report for the 2023 tax year, for individuals and companies, will be extended until 31.7.2025.
