Jerusalem, 4 August, 2025 (TPS-IL) — President of Israel Isaac Herzog and First Lady Michal Herzog began this morning, Monday, a series of official visits to the three Baltic nations Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia, at the invitation of the nations’ Presidents. The trip will last through Wednesday August 6.

During his visit to these European Union member states, president herzog will meet with President Gitanas Nausėda of Lithuania, President Edgars Rinkēvičs of Latvia, and President Alar Karis of Estonia, as well as with other senior officials. The diplomatic meetings will focus on advancing international efforts to secure the release of the hostages held by Hamas, supporting Israel’s diplomatic engagement in the face of national challenges, strengthening bilateral ties — including in the economic and security spheres — and increasing international pressure on the Iranian regime.
