Jerusalem, 29 May, 2025 (TPS-IL) — During an overnight police operation near Jerusalem, officers arrested three Palestinian suspects in two separate incidents involving burglary tools and a stolen vehicle, the Israeli Police said on Thursday morning.
In Mevaseret, detectives spotted two individuals acting suspiciously among parked cars and found them carrying tools used for car theft, including a car computer and duplicate key. One suspect, 23, held a Palestinian police officer’s ID; the other was a 16-year-old from Hebron. In a separate incident, a 19-year-old from Hebron was caught driving a stolen car on Highway 1.
All suspects were transferred for questioning and are expected to appear in court today.
