Jerusalem, 10 November, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Ministry of Agriculture and food security published a “Nine-Step Plan” to streamline the dairy industry, reduce consumer milk prices, and ensure national Food Security.
The plan includes nine structural, economic and regulatory steps that are expected to streamline the dairy and dairies sector, as part of a national plan formulated over the past year, with an investment of approximately 300 million Shekels ($92 million) per year in a long-term five-year plan. The goal of the plan: streamlining the dairy sector, ensuring a regular and stable milk supply, improving the ability to cope with shortages during Israel’s deadlines, and reducing consumer milk prices while strengthening national Food Security.
