New National Programs for Technological Entrepreneurship in Druze and Circassian Communities
Israel invests 15 million shekels in new national programs to boost technological entrepreneurship for Druze and Circassian communities, establishing innovation.
Jerusalem, 29 December, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Authority for Socio-Economic Development in Druze and Circassian Localities and Innovation Authority announced the launch of national programs to promote technological entrepreneurship in Druze and Circassian communities, with an investment of approximately 15 million shekels ($4.7 million).
As part of the measures, dedicated innovation centers will be established that will provide a broad response to the development of technological entrepreneurship, connecting to high-tech, academia and investors, as part of a broad government move to strengthen the regional economy and integrate additional populations into the Israeli high-tech industry.
The new centers join 13 innovation centers currently operating in the periphery, from Kiryat Shmona to Eilat, as part of a broad program by the Innovation Authority, operated in cooperation with various government ministries, and aimed at strengthening local entrepreneurship, developing human capital, and expanding the engines of economic growth in Israel.
