New Israeli Cybersecurity Startup Echo Raises $50M for Cloud Security
Israeli cybersecurity startup Echo raises $50M to secure cloud software, developing hardened OS images to eliminate flaws before deployment.
Jerusalem, 17 December, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Echo, a newly founded Israeli cybersecurity startup, has raised $35 million in Series A funding to develop a more secure foundation for cloud-based software. The round, led by N47, brings the company’s total funding to $50 million just 10 months after its launch.
Echo builds hardened operating system images that cloud applications rely on, aiming to eliminate security flaws before software is even deployed. Its technology replaces commonly used but vulnerability-prone container images with clean, secure alternatives. Echo’s tools are already used by large enterprises including Varonis, EDB, and UiPath. The company was founded by veterans of Israel’s elite military technology units.
