Jerusalem, 7 September, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The Israeli military inaugurated a new “Lebanon Facility” in the Golan Heights last week, designed to simulate combat in Lebanon, the Israel Defense Forces said on Sunday. The complex allows infantry, armor, and engineering units to conduct live-fire exercises both inside and outside buildings, using all types of weapons.
The facility aims to provide realistic, comprehensive preparation for all northern theater scenarios.
