Jerusalem, 16 December, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a statement Tuesday night demanding that nations do more to fight against antisemitism. The comments came in wake of the murder of 15 people in a terrorist shooting in Australia Sunday night directed against a group of Jews celebrating the first night of Hannukah.

“I demand that Western governments do what is necessary to combat anti-Semitism and provide the necessary security and safety for Jewish communities around the world,” said Netanyahu. “And they should heed our warnings. I demand that they act – now.”
