Jerusalem, 1 July, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure will grant approximately 10 million Shekels ($2.95 million) to support academic research at various research institutions across the country in the fields of energy, earth and marine sciences.
The Call, which is issued once a year, is designed to support a variety of issues, such as: exploration and exploitation of mineral resources and energy sources, advanced technologies for more efficient and cleaner energy production and generation, advanced and smart power grids, cyber protection of infrastructure, and environmental policy and education.
The research projects that will receive funding will be ranked based on professional criteria determined in advance by the Chief Scientist Unit in the Ministry. The agreements with the research institutions will range from one to three years, with the maximum grant amount being 750,000 ($221,981) per study.
