Lithuanian President Says His Country Shares ‘Strong DNA of Innovation and Resilience’ with Israel
Jerusalem, 4 August, 2025 (TPS-IL) — President Gitanas Nausėda of Lithuania attended Monday’s Lithuania–Israel Forum in Vilnius together with visiting Israeli President Isaac Herzog.
“At today’s Lithuania-Israel Forum, we signed three business and science agreements to enhance cooperation in research, industry, and trade,” said Nausėda on X. “Our countries share a strong DNA of innovation and resilience, turning challenges into opportunities. Together, we are building a future based on knowledge, technology, and security.”
“I am pleased that the forum will also see the signing of key bilateral agreements that will further solidify our economic and scientific cooperation,” Nausėda said.
“In today’s complex geopolitical climate, where security challenges dominate the international agenda, we discussed the need to further strengthen our cooperation in the defense and security industries,” he added in a statement following his meeting with Herzog.
