Largest US Delegation Ever to Visit Israel

Jerusalem, 27 November, 2025 (TPS-IL) — A delegation of 1,000 U.S. Christian Pastors and influencers will arrive in Israel in the coming days to undergo intensive training as ambassadors for Israel and the United States. Their mission is to help combat the ideological war facing Israel, particularly in outreach to young audiences.

Dr. Mike Evans, founder of the Friends of Zion Heritage Center in Jerusalem and a close confidant of President Donald Trump, together with the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is bringing to Israel the largest delegation of U.S. Christian leaders since the country’s founding.

More than 1,000 Christian leaders, representing tens of millions of Americans, will be commissioned as Friends of Zion (FOZ) Ambassadors. The initiative is being held in cooperation with Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Friends of Zion is the official global home of evangelical Christians, a community numbering over 750 million. “The vast majority of Zionists worldwide are not Jewish, says Dr. Evans.

Friends of Zion is widely celebrated in Israel. Nearly half a million Israelis have participated in a Friends of Zion event since its founding, including several hundred ambassadors from around the world. The Friends of Zion Award commissioned by the late President Shimon Peres, has been presented to more world leaders than any other award in Israel. Including President Donald Trump in the Oval Office.

Friends of Zion is also the largest pro-Israel social media platform in the world, dedicated to combating antisemitism.
