Following a notice from the raw-material supplier that salmonella was detected in the raw tahini used to produce some of our products, the company is voluntarily recalling the following items: 

1. Israeli Hummus Salad  Brand: Madanei Gal  Net weight: 3 kg
2. Israeli Hummus Salad  Brand: Madanei Gal  Net weight: 4 kg
3. Asli Tahini Salad  Brand: Madanei Gal  Net weight: 3 kg

  • Manufacturer: Gal Salads
  • Expiration dates: All expiration dates from 19/11/2025 through 02/12/2025, inclusive.
  • Barcode: Israeli Hummus 4 kg – 7290013850430   Israeli Hummus 3 kg – 7290013850331   Tahini Salad 3 kg – 7290013850546

Customers who have these products are asked not to consume them.

In coordination with the Central District Food Service of the ministry of Health, L.G. Gal Salads Ltd. is collecting the products from customers. 

In healthy individuals, salmonella may cause illness with symptoms such as fever, diarrhea (sometimes bloody), nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. In rare cases, complications may occur. In vulnerable groups—such as young children, people with weakened immune systems, and older adults—the bacteria can cause severe illness and, in some cases, death.
