Jerusalem, 10 July, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Synchrony Medical has received FDA 510(k) clearance for its Israeli-developed LibAirty Airway Clearance System. Designed for home use, the system helps patients with chronic lung diseases like COPD and cystic fibrosis clear their airways using synchronized chest compressions and guided breathing. Developed with Sheba Medical Center in Ramat Gan, LibAirty proved twice as effective as traditional therapies in clinical trials.
“This milestone will allow us to help improve patients’ lives and overall respiratory health,” said CEO Anat Shani. Synchrony is establishing a U.S. headquarters and preparing a limited rollout later this year.
