Jerusalem, 7 May, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The Bank of Israel reported that Israel’s foreign exchange reserves at the end of April 2025 stood at $222.035 billion, an increase of $3.224 billion from their level at the end of the previous month. The level of the reserves relative to GDP was 41.1%.

The increase was mainly the result of a revaluation that increased the reserves by approximately $4.842 billion, explained the Bank. This increase was partly offset by the government’s foreign exchange activities totaling approximately $1.644 billion.
