Jerusalem, 22 October, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israeli company Electreon announced successful real-world results from the world’s first dynamic wireless-charging motorway, launched on France’s A10 with partners VINCI Autoroutes and Gustave Eiffel University. The system allows electric vehicles to recharge directly from the road while driving, a breakthrough that could transform heavy transport. Tests showed power levels exceeding 200 kW under live traffic.
“This is a pivotal moment in the global development of electric roads,” said Electreon CEO Oren Ezer. The Beit Yanai–based company’s technology could cut battery size, vehicle costs, and emissions.
