Jerusalem, 30 October, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israeli medtech startup CustoMED has raised $6 million in seed funding to expand its AI-driven, 3D-printed orthopedic surgery solutions. Originating from Sheba Medical Center’s 3D Printing & Innovation Lab, the company’s platform converts medical imaging into patient-specific surgical guides and implants within minutes, enhancing precision and reducing operating times.

The round was backed by Longevity Venture Partners, Varana Capital, Flag Capital, the Israel Innovation Authority, and Wix CEO Avishai Abrahami. CustoMED plans to use the funds to pursue U.S. and EU regulatory approvals and expand global deployment of its Israel-developed, surgeon-first technology.
