Israeli Military Confirms Elimination of Third Hezbollah Terrorists Within Hours in Lebanon: Zakariya Yahya al-Haj

Jerusalem, 14 December, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) has now confirmed that a third Hezbollah terrorist was eliminated in attacks carried out in different areas in southern Lebanon within less than an hour Sunday morning – the terrorist Zakariya Yahya al-Haj, who the IDF said served as a senior terrorist in the Hezbollah terror organization in the Jouaiyya area in southern Lebanon.

As part of his role, he activated agents in lebanon’s security apparatuses. In addition, the terrorist al-Haj operated with the aim of suppressing criticism by opponents of the Hezbollah terror organization in Lebanon.

“The terrorist’s activities posed a threat to the State of Israel and its citizens, and a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon,” said the IDF.
