Jerusalem, 5 August, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israeli soldiers uncovered and dismantled a 2-kilometer-long underground tunnel in the southern Gaza area of Khan Yunis, the Israel Defense Forces said on Tuesday.

Separately, troops discovered dozens of mortar shells, grenades, and explosives hidden in a military structure.

“Terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip continue to use civilian infrastructure for terrorist purposes,” the IDF said.
