Jerusalem, 15 June, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s airspace remains closed due to the ongoing security situation, with Ben Gurion Airport shut to all landings and takeoffs, the Israel Air Transport Authority said. It added that any reopening will be announced at least six hours in advance.
The Ahority is also coordinating with Israeli airlines to prepare for the eventual return of citizens, though this may take time. “Flights will only resume once it is safe,” it said.
Meanwhile, land border crossings with Egypt and Jordan remain open during limited daytime hours.
