Jerusalem, 23 June, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israeli inspectors have intercepted over 12 tons of illegally smuggled fresh agricultural produce and more than 100 kg of meat products from the Palestinian Authority in recent days, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security said Monday. The ministry warned that such smuggling, often lacking proper oversight or documentation, poses a serious risk to public health.
All seized goods were destroyed, and the vehicles used were confiscated.
