Israel imposes civil sanctions on families of Palestinian terrorists involved in deadly Jerusalem attack. Work permits revoked, homes may be demolished.

Jerusalem, 9 September, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz announced civil sanctions targeting relatives of terrorists Mutna Omar and Muhammad Taha and residents of their hometowns, Qatanna and Qubeiba near Ramallah.

Omar and Taha killed six people when they opened fire at people at a busy Jerusalem traffic junction on Monday morning. Both were killed at the scene.

Katz added that authorities will revoke 750 work and entry permits to Israel.

Earlier this morning, security forces mapped Omar and Taha’s homes for possible demolition.
