Jerusalem, 24 May, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Iran hardens its stance in Nuclear Talks with the US claiming that the responsibility for the stalled talks lies with the Washington.
Mohammad Ranjbaran, an advisor to Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, told the Lebanese channel Al-Mayadeen that it was the US that adopted different positions and spoke about uranium enrichment as a red line, claiming that this happened after the third round.
Calling the US positions “contradictory” Ranjbaran said that taking that into account Iran decided to cancel the fourth round. The Iranian FM advisor claimed that both Iran and the U.S. see uranium enrichment as a red line.
“Their red line is on paper, but our red line is written in our veins. It’s untouchable, and the Americans are fully aware of this.”
