Jerusalem, 3 December, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Quantum Computing Center (IQCC) at Tel Aviv University has become the first facility in the world to deploy Qolab’s next-generation superconducting qubit device, marking a major milestone in global quantum research. The announcement was made by Qolab founder and 2025 Nobel laureate John Martinis alongside Quantum Machines executives.
The device is designed for high-fidelity, scalable, and manufacturable quantum computing, bridging the gap between fragile lab systems and practical industrial applications. Through the IQCC cloud, international researchers can now access Qolab’s superconducting qubits, fostering global collaboration.
Supported by the Israel Innovation Authority, the center integrates multiple quantum modalities with classical high-performance computing, establishing Israel as a leading hub for advanced quantum hardware development.
