Jerusalem, 13 May, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Innoviz Technologies will speed up delivery of its new InnovizTwo LiDAR sensors to Volkswagen Autonomous Mobility. The sensors will be installed in hundreds of ID. Buzz AD shuttles, each equipped with nine LiDAR units for full 360° sensing. The shuttles are set to launch in cities across Europe and the U.S. starting in 2026.
This move supports VW’s plans for Level 4 autonomous driving and is part of a broader partnership with MOIA, VW’s mobility brand.
The Israel-based Innoviz is also working with Fabrinet to prepare for mass production ahead of the 2025 rollout.
