Innoviz Expands in U.S. Market with New Self-Driving Truck Partnership
Innoviz Technologies partners with major U.S. truck maker for self-driving vehicles with LiDAR sensors. Expanding into North America market.
Jerusalem, 9 September, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israeli company Innoviz Technologies will supply LiDAR sensors to a major truck maker for its future self-driving vehicles in North America. Innoviz will deliver its InnovizTwo sensors this year for data-collection trucks and adapt software to fit the manufacturer’s needs.
LiDAR (Laser Imaging, Detection, and Ranging) is a remote sensing technology that uses laser pulses to measure distances and create highly accurate 3D maps of surroundings — crucial for autonomous vehicles, drones, and many surveying applications.
The Level 4 autonomous trucks are designed to drive on highways and regional routes, aiming to cut costs and improve safety. The deal follows an earlier win with a top carmaker.
