IDF Intercepts UAV from Yemen Over Southern Israel
Israeli Air Force intercepts UAV from Yemen over southern Israel. IDF confirms interception near Bnei Netzarim. Current event.
Jerusalem, 3 August, 2025 (TPS-IL) — An unmanned aerial vehicle launched from Yemen was intercepted by the Israeli Air Force approximately 600 meters inside Israeli territory near the southern community of Bnei Netzarim on Sunday.
The interception followed an earlier incident last Wednesday, when a UAV from Yemen was also intercepted moments before crossing into Israeli airspace, triggering alerts in the same area.
The IDF Spokesperson confirmed:
“Following the alert regarding a hostile aircraft infiltration in the Bnei Netzarim area, the Israeli Air Force intercepted an unmanned aerial vehicle launched from Yemen.”
