Historic First: New Rapid Transit Bus Line to Serve Samaria
Israel launches historic Orange Line BRT connecting Samaria to Petah Tikva, serving 10k passengers daily. A first for the region.
Jerusalem, 22 September, 2025 (TPS-IL) — First time in history, a BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) line will serve Samaria. Israel’s Ministry of Transportation is launching the Orange Line: a new BRT line that will connect the Rachel Terminal in the heart of Samaria to Petah Tikva, 30 kilometers long. The line will serve approximately ten thousand passengers per day and will connect to the light rail and metro.
