The Ministry of Health asks anyone who attended an event at the “Keter HaRimon” hall, 10 Aharonovitz Street, Bnei Brak, on Tuesday (November 11, 2025) from 11:00 p.m. onward to make sure they are vaccinated according to ministry recommendations.
The Ministry of Health reports a measles case involving a person who was at the “Keter HaRimon” hall, 10 Aharonovitz Street, Bnei Brak, on Tuesday (November 11, 2025) from 11:00 p.m.
Anyone who attended the event at that time is asked to contact our hotline at *5400.
The Ministry of Health reminds the public that measles is a preventable disease with an effective and safe vaccine.
The ministry emphasizes the importance of seeking medical care promptly if symptoms appear or if there is suspicion of exposure. Timely care saves lives.
Vaccination recommendations:
It is recommended that all children be vaccinated at ages one and six as part of the routine immunization schedule.
In areas with an outbreak:
- Administer the second dose earlier, at age 18 months.
- Additional vaccination is recommended for infants aged 6–11 months in outbreak areas or when traveling to such areas.
Currently defined outbreak areas: Jerusalem, Beit Shemesh, Bnei Brak, Harish, Modi’in Illit, Nof HaGalil, Kiryat Gat, Ashdod, Safed, Netivot, Haifa, Tiberias, the Mateh Binyamin Regional Council, and Tekoa.
In these areas, people can visit well-baby clinics, HMOs, and vaccination stations set up to support vaccination efforts without a prior appointment.
The Ministry of Health recommends that unvaccinated individuals, as well as parents of infants who received only one vaccine dose at ages 6–11 months, avoid attending large gatherings in outbreak cities due to the risk of infection.
