Jerusalem, 4 October, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Senior Hamas official Abu Marzouk claims that Donald Trump’s plan cannot be implemented without negotiations.

Commenting on the “official” response of the terrorist organisation Hamas to Trump’s plan to end the war in the Gaza Strip, senior operative Mousa Abu Marzouk claimed that releasing all hostages within 72 hours ‘is a theoretical matter and not practical under current circumstances’.

He also told Al Jazeera that they had agreed to a regional and international concept presented by Egypt, which included responses on peace and future issues.

We have responded positively to the points in Trump’s plan that are relevant to our movement. We will enter negotiations on all issues related to the movement and weapons. ]

All details regarding the peacekeeping force require clarification and agreement — the plan cannot be implemented without negotiations.’
