Jerusalem, 2 September, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Athens-based Ionic Shipping will equip its entire fleet, including the recently delivered Suezmax tanker Ionic Semeli and 11 bulk carriers, with Orca AI, the Israeli maritime technology platform.

Orca AI’s digital watchkeeper, SeaPod, and shoreside monitoring tool, Fleetview, enhance navigational safety by detecting and classifying targets in real time, particularly in congested or low-visibility conditions. Ionic has praised the platform for improving operational safety and efficiency.

Orca AI, headquartered in Israel, has previously helped crews prevent incidents, including a March collision off the UK coast.
