The committee’s first working session is expected to take place on Thursday, November 20, 2025.
The committee will review hundreds of new technologies and medications and will recommend their inclusion in the health services basket based on professional, clinical, and economic criteria.
Ministry of Health Director-General, Moshe Bar Siman-Tov:
“Approving the composition of the Public Health Basket Committee ensures smooth functioning and progress of the healthcare system, as it does every year, and guarantees fair and advanced healthcare. The committee’s work will allow for responsible and professional evaluation of new technologies and medications according to the public’s health needs and will ultimately lead to approval of new drugs and technologies for the benefit of a wide range of patients.
