Jerusalem, 23 July, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics released the Labor Force Survey Data for the month of June 2025, which showed a slight decline.

Seasonally adjusted data for June 2025

In June 2025 (compared with May 2025, among persons aged 15 and over):

Participation rate in the labor force – 62.3% (62.7% in May).

Employment rate (the percentage of employed persons out of the total population) – 60.6% (60.8% in May).

Unemployment rate from the labor force – 2.7% (3.1% in May).

Participation rate in the labor force – 62.6% (63% in May).

Employment rate (the percentage of employed persons out of the total population) – 60.8% (61% in May).

Unemployment rate from the labor force – 2.7% (3.1% in May).

Employment rate excluding persons temporarily absent from work all week due to economic reasons – 56.8% (60.8% in May). Percentage of persons temporarily absent from work all week according to selected reasons: economic reasons – 52.2% (8.7% in May), military reserve duty – 10.1% (11.8% May), other – 1.7% (0.7% in May).

Percentage of men temporarily absent from work all week according to selected reasons: economic reasons – 49.1% (11.4% in May), military reserve duty – 18.9% (22.6% in May), other – 1.4% (1.1% in May).

Percentage of women temporarily absent from work all week according to selected reasons: economic reasons – 54.9% (6.8% in May), reserves – 2.3% (4.1% in May), other – 1.9% (0.5% in May).
