Eilat Draws New High-Tech Defense Hub
Eilat partners with SeaNovation to establish a high-tech defense hub, boosting the city's reputation as a tech hotspot and creating new job opportunities.
Jerusalem, 18 November, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Eilat will soon host a high-tech operation through a collaboration between the city and the SeaNovation Innovation Center, one of Israel’s leading defense industries. The move boosts Eilat’s reputation as a hub for biotechnology, aquaculture, and advanced technologies. Mayor Eli Lankari hailed it as a “significant breakthrough” for local employment, and SeaNovation CEO Uri Shemesh invited more entrepreneurs to join the city’s growing tech ecosystem.
The new facility is expected to create approximately 15 jobs in software engineering, DevOps, and other STEM fields.
