Jerusalem, 12 May, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The returning hostage has now been transferred to IDF forces in the Gaza Strip.

“He is currently being escorted by an elite IDF unit on his way to Israel, where he will undergo an initial medical assessment and meet with his family members. IDF commanders and soldiers salute and embrace the returnee on his way to Israel,” the statement by the Israel Defense Forces says.
