Citizenship Stripped from Man Who Lied About Criminal Past
Man loses Israeli citizenship for lying about criminal past, leading to revocation of family members' entitlements.
Jerusalem, 11 November, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The Administrative Court in Beersheba revoked the citizenship of a man who had been granted it under the Law of Return, after he lied during an interview to receive citizenship and claimed that he had divorced his second wife, despite being convicted of her murder and serving a lengthy prison sentence.
In addition, it revoked the entitlements of his family members who had received it based on his status.
