Jerusalem, 24 June, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Ben-Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv is gradually expanding its operations, the Israel Airports Authority said on Tuesday. Accoring to the Authority, takeoffs and landings will increase from two to eight per hour. The airport aims to eventually reach 20 per hour. A flight schedule for the coming month will be published in the coming hours.

The Authority added that additional foreign airlines are requesting to return to Israel.

Israel closed its airspace during the state of emergency while fighting Iran.
