Jerusalem, 22 November, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Hamas considers the ceasefire in Gaza to be over. The terrorist group, as reported by the Saudi network Al Arabiya, informed US envoy Steve Whitcoff and US President Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner that “the deal is over and they are ready to fight.”
Hamas leadership sources cited by Al Arabiya reportedly added that the message they conveyed to the US was that “the ceasefire must be mutual” and that “Gaza will not become Lebanon”, alluding to the IDF’s ongoing attacks targeting Hezbollah’s resurgent moves in southern Lebanon.
The announcement was preceded by Israeli airstrikes against Hamas targets in Gaza after Hamas members opened fire on IDF soldiers in the Strip. The Israeli airstrikes reportedly eliminated Abdullah al-Haddidi, head of the supply department at Hamas’ weapons manufacturing headquarters.
