Jerusalem, 16 September, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Tel Aviv-based startup MetalBear has raised $12.5 million in Seed funding led by TLV Partners, with several other investors taking part. The company developed mirrord, an open source tool that lets developers test code locally as if it were running in the cloud, removing delays caused by traditional staging environments. The solution helps teams work faster and with fewer errors, a challenge made more urgent as AI speeds up code writing but testing remains slow.

Already used by major companies like NVIDIA, AWS and Apple, MetalBear was also named a Gartner Cool Vendor in Container Management.
