Israeli Military Monitoring Suspect Along the Border Fence within Lebanon
The Israeli military is closely monitoring a suspect who approached the border fence from southwestern Lebanon, deploying forces and armored assets to eliminate.
Jerusalem, 18 January, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) said one of its units recently (Sunday evening) identified a suspect in southwestern Lebanon who approached the border fence with the State of Israel.
Since the moment of identification, IDF forces have been continuously monitoring the suspect. In addition, forces have been deployed to the area and a tank and helicopter gunship were used to eliminate the threat.
Activity in the area continues.
