Jerusalem, 5 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — In a joint operation by the Israel Police, Shin Bet (Israel’s anti-terror General Security Service) and the IDF (Israel Defense Forces), an attempt to smuggle weapons across the Jordanian border was thwarted and 36 pistols and 63 cartridges were seized. Three residents of the Negev were arrested and an indictment was filed against them today, Thursday.
