The Abarbanel Mental Health Center is operating in an emergency mode, in accordance with the Home Front Command and Ministry of Health guidelines and the preliminary preparedness built in recent months.
All professional and administrative teams are updated and operating according to dedicated emergency protocols, while maintaining therapeutic continuity, emotional response, and support for hospitalized patients, clinic patients, and their families.
The operational and clinical system is reinforced as needed, and ongoing adjustments are made to ensure stability, security, and continued therapeutic routine as much as possible.
The center emphasizes that maintaining routine, continuous contact with treatment providers, and early outreach in times of distress are significant factors in mental coping during wartime.
The center emphasizes that the triage and inpatient departments continue to operate, while adhering to safety guidelines and full operational preparedness.
Prof. Yuval Melamed, Director of the Medical Center: “We have woken up to a reality we have been preparing for for a long time. The center is ready and operating in full emergency mode. All teams are updated, protocols have been activated, and we continue to provide professional, responsible, and continuous care to patients and families. Together we will get through this period as well.”
Ziv Einay, Administrative Director: “It is our responsibility to ensure that the operational and logistical systems enable full continuity of care even in emergency conditions. We prepared in advance with organized plans, backup of infrastructure and resources, and we are making daily adjustments to maintain stable, safe, and professional functioning of the center.”
