The National Security Council (NSC) provides clarification to the Israeli public staying abroad who wish to reach Israel, or to Israelis wishing to travel abroad not via Ben Gurion Airport:

The NSC recommends that Israelis returning to Israel via Egypt or Jordan arrive solely by flights landing in Taba, Aqaba, and Amman, and not at other airports. The NSC further recommends not to stay in Egypt or Jordan (the Level 4 travel warning in these countries remains in effect), and to arrive directly from the airport to the border crossings near Israel.

Additionally, the following recommendations must be adhered to:

1. Conceal any Israeli/Jewish symbols when arriving in Egypt/Jordan.

2. Do not post updates/details on social media.

The NSC recommends that the Israeli public staying in the United Arab Emirates, whenever possible, return to Israel via commercial flights. The NSC also recommends avoiding travel to the United Arab Emirates at this time, and even avoiding transit flights through the United Arab Emirates to/from other destinations.

The NSC operates a call center for questions regarding travel warnings in the context of terrorism only:

  1.  Phone: 026667444.
  2. You can also follow on Facebook and Instagram.

For questions regarding flights, please contact the Ministry of Transportation call center at *4515.

1. Phone: 02-5303155
2. On WhatsApp: 050-5073969
