Israel Targets Hezbollah Sites in Ansar After Rocket Fire
The Israel Defense Forces struck Hezbollah headquarters and terror infrastructure in Ansar, Lebanon, in response to rocket launches into Israel.
Jerusalem, 10 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israel Defense Forces said it carried out overnight airstrikes on Hezbollah headquarters and other terror infrastructure in the southern Lebanese village of Ansar, from where rockets were launched at Israel on Monday.
According to the IDF, the strikes targeted sites linked to Hezbollah’s operations in the area in response to the cross-border rocket fire. The military said it issued a warning in Arabic to residents of the village several hours after the launches, urging them to evacuate for their safety.
The IDF accused Hezbollah of embedding its military infrastructure in civilian areas, saying the group places rocket launchers near homes and fires from populated locations.
