Hamas Commander Yahya Abu Labdah Eliminated in Gaza
The IDF eliminated Hamas commander Yahya Abu Labdah, who advanced the terror group's missile precision project and procured weapons for Gaza.
Jerusalem, 18 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) reported that the terrorist who promoted Hamas’ missile precision project was eliminated, as it continues to target Hamas’ attempts to strengthen and renew its terror capabilities.
The IDF attacked and eliminated terrorist Yahya Abu Labdah, a commander in the Hamas terror organization’s supply department, yesterday (Tuesday). However, no details were provided as to the circumstances of his killing.
As part of his role, Abu Labdah was responsible for purchasing and transporting military equipment and weapons for the military wing of the Hamas terror organization.
He also, said the IDF, led and promoted dozens of tons of raw materials for the production of rockets and advanced electronic components to advance Hamas’s production plant. Among other things, this equipment was used by the Hamas terror organization in the October 7 massacre.
The IDF declared that its forces in the Southern Command will “continue to work to eradicate attempts by the Hamas terrorist organization to gain strength in the Gaza Strip and to remove any threat to the State of Israel and its citizens.”
