Following a situation assessment held by the Minister of Labor and the Director-General of the Ministry of Labor, and in accordance with the Home Front Command‘s directives, a change in activity has been decided for the following institutions starting tomorrow:
- State-supervised and subsidized family daycares – will not operate.
- Technological colleges supervised by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs (MAHAT) (The Governmental Technological Institute of the Ministry of Labor) are currently in an examination period – all exams are canceled for the duration of the emergency order, and updates will be provided regarding new dates. Regarding the spring semester which is supposed to open tomorrow, each college will provide individual updates regarding the study format.
- Adult training institutions supervised by the Ministry of Labor – will not operate for the next two days (March 1-2, 2026) and will transition to online learning according to developments and Home Front Command directives. Further notice will be issued soon.
- Vocational high schools – The Vocational Training Administration at the Ministry of Labor has issued a sweeping directive to cease physical learning, and schools will transition to distance learning. The ministry’s therapeutic team will guide and support all institutions throughout this period. All special activities/trips that were scheduled are canceled until further notice.
- Vocational schools with a boarding model – The Vocational Training Administration has instructed to disperse currently until further notice.
- Training exams – will not take place for the next two days (March 1-2, 2026). Notice regarding the rest of the week will be issued according to developments and Home Front Command directives.
- Licensing exams and professional committees in the Senior Department for Regulating Occupations for Engineers/Electricians and Architects – will not take place this week as of now. An update on additional dates will be provided later.
- Additionally, certification committees for site managers and safety officers will not be held.
The management of the Ministry of Labor is monitoring developments and will update the public on any changes.
