In recent days, amidst the outbreak of war, focused efforts have been made at the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology to assist the Israeli research community in successfully completing pre-proposals for the national call for proposals of the Applied Research Fund at the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology.
Chief Scientist Prof. Miri Yamin decided to postpone the closing date of the call for proposals for research institutions by several days. Researchers who encountered difficulties in submitting proposals received optimal and rapid individual assistance.
The emergency center was opened at the beginning of the week following a situation assessment led by the Director-General of the Ministry, Omer Shachter, during which a remote work plan was formulated for the Ministry’s employees, led by the Senior Human Capital Division, subject to Home Front Command directives and in consideration of changes in defense guidelines, with an emphasis on proximity to protected rooms and minimizing non-essential travel.
The Director-General has held ongoing discussions and situation assessments in recent days with all professional elements in the Ministry to implement the directives of the Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Gila Gamliel, to maintain proper organizational functional continuity while strengthening and supporting all employees and their families, led by the Senior Human Resources Division.
We are here for you,
even during this challenging period.
