Travel to Israel Still Way Down Compared to Before October 7 2023

Visitor arrivals to Israel still significantly lower than pre-October 7, 2023 levels. September 2025 sees 115,300 arrivals, with 113,700 foreign tourists.

Jerusalem, 21 October, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics reported that in september 2025 there were 115,300 visitor arrivals to Israel, compared to 86,400 in September 2024, and 330,900 in September 2023 (before the October 7 massacre).

Of the September arrivals, 113,700 were foreign tourists, compared to 85,100 in September 2024, and 304,100 in September 2023.

January-September 2025

In the months of January – September 2025 there were 942,700 visitor arrivals, compared to 767,600 in the same period of 2024, and 3.05 million in the same period of 2023. (34.1% of visitor arrivals were from the United States, 13.2% from France, 8.1% from the United Kingdom, and 5.4% from Russia.)
